I'm just looking for feedback and justification on spending the big bucks for a Five-Seven. I know for a fact that the Glock will handle 9MM carbine rounds as well. 9MM to me is less likely to blow through a target as the 5.7 ammo. I think that with a 9mm shot placement won't be as critical an issue even though I know there are larger caliber guns out there with more stopping power than both. There is even armor piercing 9MM ammo available. As far as the balistics go I wouldn't want to be shot by either. I understand that the Five-Seven has 20 round mags but Glock has 33 round mags available. I'm having a tough time justifying the the expense knowing I could buy 2 Glocks for what a Five-Seven cost. Of all you Five-Seven owners have you had any type of firing issues (feed problems, jams, etc.) Of course FN pistols haven't been around as long and hasn't developed the track record that the Glock has. As a retired law enforcement officer I've learned to trust the Glock. I've put thousands of rounds through the Glocks model 17 and 19. I was told that next I'd be getting the Five-Seven pistol becqause they are mates. To learn more about the FN Five-seveN MRD, please visit 'm an owner of a PS90.
